Programs
Our School Year Program
is a 10-month program which follows the school calendar. Children are provided with superior early childhood experiences through: -Computers -Learning Centers -Books on Tape -Variety of Art Mediums, etc. Gross Motor and Fine Motor Skills are focused on daily by introducing children to activities involving: -Eye-hand Coordination -Manual Dexterity -Muscular Strength -Strength and Stamina The drama of puppetry and role playing is stressed. Children respond to music through singing, movement, and the use of rhythm instruments. Socialization is key. By participating in both small and large group activities children learn cooperation, sharing, and turn-taking. Academic Skills are stressed: -Language- children acquire a love for literature and begin working on pre-reading skills -Math- math relationships for students involve sorting, classifying, and working on number skills -Science- making discoveries and using our senses -Social Studies- community and its workers | Our Extended Year Program
is open from 7:30AM – 6:00PM 12 MONTHS a year, except for legal holidays and special days. It includes both our 10 Month School Year Program and our Summer Camp Program. Our 12 Month Extended Year Program is designed with our working parents in mind. Children will receive the benefits of our regular school year curriculum as well as the recreational fun of our Summer Camp. PLUS On school holidays your child will be supervised in various activities such as arts and crafts, games, story time, etc. |
