Hands-On Approach to Teaching
Young children are naturally curious and motivated to learn. They may not learn the same way or at the same pace. They may not have the same motivation or even the same interests and that’s ok. Learning is about understanding, so we use a hands-on approach to teaching and work with the children based on their individual needs. We make learning fun through games, learning centers, science experiments, stories, imaginary play and so many other exciting and enriching activities. Learning should be a way for students to make sense of the world around them.

SPECIAL Events & FAMILY CELEBRATIONS
At Wind ’n Willow, we believe that celebrations create lasting memories and strengthen the connection between home and school. Throughout the year, our children enjoy engaging seasonal activities, cultural celebrations, and hands-on experiences that make learning meaningful and fun.
Over the years, we found that many of our daytime parent events were difficult for working families to attend. To ensure every child feels included and every family has the opportunity to participate, we have shifted our focus to larger, family-centered celebrations that everyone can enjoy together.
Throughout the school year, children participate in a variety of special events, including:

🍁 Family Fall Festival
A fun-filled celebration with seasonal activities, games, crafts, music, and plenty of fall fun for the entire family.
🎡 End-of-the-Year Family Carnival
Our school year concludes with a festive carnival featuring games, entertainment, treats, and activities as we celebrate another wonderful year of learning, growth, and friendships.
These special events bring together parents, grandparents, siblings, and extended family, creating meaningful traditions and unforgettable memories for our entire Wind ’n Willow community.
