People often ask me why I chose early childhood education. The answer is simple—there is nothing more rewarding than watching a child discover who they are.
Their laughter, their curiosity, their growing confidence, and the excitement they feel when they accomplish something new are what inspire me every single day.
Seeing children learn, grow, and blossom into confident, kind, and capable individuals is truly one of life’s greatest joys, and it is the reason Wind ’n Willow holds such a special place in my heart.
As a proud mother and grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren—Natalia, Lucas, and Leo—I understand the trust families place in those who care for their children. Being a grandmother has only deepened my appreciation for the wonder of childhood and strengthened my commitment to creating a place where every child feels safe, loved, valued, and encouraged to become the very best version of themselves.
My professional background is in business, where I developed the leadership, organizational, and management skills that continue to guide Wind ‘n Willow today. I am also the owner of a children’s boutique, another reflection of my love for celebrating childhood and supporting families through life’s most meaningful milestones. Together, these experiences have helped me build a preschool that is both thoughtfully managed and deeply rooted in compassion.
When I envisioned Wind ’n Willow, I dreamed of creating more than just a preschool. I wanted to create a place where children feel genuinely loved, safe, encouraged, and excited to learn each day. A place where they are free to explore, ask questions, build friendships, and discover their own unique strengths. I believe that the early childhood years are about so much more than academics—they are about nurturing confidence, kindness, independence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.
Every decision we make at Wind ‘n Willow is guided by one simple question: “Is this what’s best for the children?” That philosophy has become the heart of our school and the foundation of everything we do. It is an incredible privilege to be entrusted with a child’s early years, and I am deeply grateful for the families who allow us to be part of their journey. My hope is that every child who walks through our doors leaves with happy memories, lasting friendships, a love of learning, and the confidence to grow into all they are meant to be.

Kathleen brings a beautiful blend of medical experience, educational knowledge, and a genuine love for children to the Wind ’n Willow Preschool family.
A devoted mother of two boys, Lucas and Leo, and a loving wife to her husband, Eric, Kathleen understands firsthand how precious the early years of childhood are and how important it is for children to feel safe, loved, and supported as they grow.
Kathleen earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Delaware, where she also completed coursework in education. She went on to spend many years working as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, caring for mothers and welcoming their precious babies into the world. Through her nursing career, Kathleen developed a deep appreciation for the beginning of life, the importance of compassionate care, and the special bond between parents and their children.
As Kathleen became a mother herself, her heart led her toward a new chapter. Wanting to spend more time with her own young children while following her passion for nurturing little ones, she made the decision to join her mother at Wind ’n Willow Preschool and become part of the world of early childhood education.
Those who know Kathleen—her family, friends, and coworkers—will tell you that her beauty extends far beyond the outside. She has a gentle spirit, a kind heart, and a natural warmth that makes others feel comfortable and cared for. Her patience, compassion, and understanding are qualities that shine through in the way she connects with children and the people around her.
At Wind ’n Willow, Kathleen brings the same tenderness and dedication to caring for children that she once brought to supporting families during some of life’s most meaningful moments. She believes that every child deserves to feel cherished, understood, and encouraged to discover the world around them.
For Kathleen, caring for children is more than a profession; it is a reflection of who she is. We are so proud to welcome her into this next chapter and feel incredibly fortunate to have her loving presence as part of the Wind ’n Willow family.

Jeannie has been a cherished member of the Wind ’n Willow family for over 10 years.
As our Preschool Coordinator, she is the heart of our daily operations, helping each day run smoothly while creating a warm, welcoming environment for our children, families, and staff.
As the proud mother of two, Jeannie understands firsthand the importance of finding a preschool where children feel safe, loved, and inspired to learn. She brings that same care, compassion, and understanding to every family who walks through our doors.
Known for her kind heart, calm demeanor, and exceptional organization, Jeannie is always ready to lend a helping hand, answer a parent’s questions, and support our teachers in every way possible. Her dedication, patience, and genuine love for children shine through in everything she does.
Jeannie believes that the early years are the foundation for a lifetime of learning. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with our families and helping create the nurturing, joyful community that makes Wind ’n Willow such a special place.
