Wise Willows Preschool Program
AGES 3½ to 4½ years
BUILDING A SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL FOUNDATION
The Wise Willows classroom is where confidence blossoms, independence flourishes, and children begin to discover just how capable they truly are. Like the graceful willow tree, our students learn that strength comes from being flexible, kind, curious, and resilient.
Designed for children ages 3½ to 4½, this classroom serves as an important bridge between our Mini Maples and Mighty Oaks programs. As children mature, they become more confident learners who are eager to ask questions, solve problems, take on responsibilities, and think independently. Our teachers provide the perfect balance of encouragement and challenge, helping each child reach their fullest potential while honoring their individual pace of development.
Growing resilient minds, compassionate hearts, and confident leaders.
STRENGTHENING SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL GROWTH
Social-emotional growth remains at the heart of everything we do. Children strengthen friendships, develop empathy, practice leadership, and learn to navigate increasingly complex social situations with confidence and kindness. They become thoughtful communicators, respectful listeners, and caring members of our classroom community, while learning to solve conflicts, make responsible choices, and encourage one another.
Our hands-on, theme-based curriculum encourages children to wonder, explore, create, and discover. Through engaging studies of science, nature, community, literacy, mathematics, art, music, STEM, dramatic play, and outdoor exploration, children develop critical thinking skills and a genuine love of learning.
As school readiness becomes a greater focus, children strengthen their literacy, math, and problem-solving abilities through meaningful, play-based experiences. They continue building phonemic awareness, letter recognition and sounds, handwriting, early reading skills, number concepts, patterning, sequencing, science exploration, and beginning critical thinking. Learning centers encourage collaboration, creativity, independence, and perseverance while preparing children for the expectations of Pre-K.
Throughout the year, children are encouraged to take ownership of their learning by making choices, completing classroom responsibilities, caring for materials, helping classmates, and becoming confident leaders within our classroom family.

WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL LEARN
At Wind ‘n Willow, our Wise Willows are learning that wisdom is more than what you know—it’s how you think, how you treat others, and how confidently you embrace new challenges. Every day, their roots grow deeper, their branches reach higher, and they become more prepared for the exciting journey ahead.
