Our Sweet Sprouts classroom is where children begin to blossom with confidence, independence, and curiosity. For many families, this is their child’s very first preschool experience, while for others, it is the next step in their Wind ’n Willow journey. Wherever they begin, every child is welcomed with patience, encouragement, and the opportunity to grow at their own pace.
At this age, children are becoming more independent while continuing to develop the social-emotional skills that create a strong foundation for lifelong learning. They learn how to separate from their caregivers with confidence, build meaningful friendships, work and play cooperatively, solve simple problems, express their feelings appropriately, and become caring members of our classroom community.

STRONG ROOTS CREATE CONFIDENT LEARNERS
As language blossoms, children become eager communicators. Through conversations, stories, songs, dramatic play, and daily group experiences, they expand their vocabulary, strengthen listening skills, ask thoughtful questions, and gain confidence expressing themselves.
Independence flourishes as children proudly take on new responsibilities. They learn to recognize their names, care for their belongings, put away backpacks, wash their hands, use the bathroom independently when developmentally appropriate, clean up after activities, follow classroom routines, and complete simple classroom jobs with growing confidence.
Our play-based, theme-centered curriculum encourages children to explore through art, music, movement, sensory play, science, nature, dramatic play, learning centers, and outdoor adventures. Through these meaningful experiences, children strengthen their fine and gross motor skills while developing creativity, curiosity, problem-solving, and a lifelong love of learning.
